The Director of Centre for Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (CIMT), Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, was honoured to be invited to the 13th ASEAN Connectivity Symposium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, held on 3 October 2022. During the symposium, CIMT had the opportunity to update on the current status of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Physical Connectivity Projects (PCPs) covering various projects; toll road, bridges, seaports, CIQ facilities, and others with an estimated value of USD 39 billion. Apart from the main event at the symposium, CIMT also had the chance to briefly discuss potential collaboration with the ASEAN Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) for the IMT-GT PCPs, and Australia as the potential development partner to IMT-GT. Both responded positively and are ready to further discuss on the possibilities.
