12 August 2025 – #CIMTConnects: The Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) participated in the High-Level Dialogue on the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and the ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan 2026–2035, held at the ASEAN Sustainable Urbanisation Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Our Deputy Director, Ms. Duangruetai Surasakjinda, joined distinguished speakers from the ASEAN Secretariat, UN-Habitat, and the Australian Mission to ASEAN in a forward-looking exchange on how sustainable urbanisation can advance regional integration and connectivity.
The dialogue explored ASEAN’s long-term vision, evolving connectivity priorities, and the role of sustainable urbanisation strategies and initiatives such as the ASEAN Smart Cities Network in driving inclusive, resilient, and future-ready development across ASEAN.
