IMT-GT Transport-Tourism Dialogue “Enhancing Air Connectivity and Tourism Development in Jakarta, Indonesia

6 August 2025 — The IMT-GT Transport-Tourism Dialogue “Enhancing Air Connectivity and Tourism Development” brought together policymakers, airlines, airport operators and tourism authorities from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand to chart a stronger, more connected tourism future across the subregion.

From upgrading travel experiences to aligning transport and tourism plans, the dialogue set a clear path toward a seamless and competitive IMT-GT tourism corridor.

This cross-sectoral collaboration is a vital step towards sustainable, inclusive growth and deeper regional integration under the IMT-GT Vision 2036. Strengthening connectivity; positioning IMT-GT as a unified destination.
