The 16th IMT-GT Working Group on Agriculture and Agro-based Industry meeting was convened successfully on August 15th, 2023, at the Grand Central Premier Hotel in Medan, Indonesia. The meeting was graced by the presence of Mr. Arif Sudarto Trinugroho, the Regional Secretary of North Sumatra Province, among other distinguished attendees. The session was chaired over by Dr. Rosliza binti Jaluli and witnessed the participation of honourables individuals including Dr. Ade Candradijaya from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Juliana Hii Lili from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries of Malaysia, and Dr. Vanida Khumnirdpetch, Ph.D, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand. Notably, the meeting also welcomed the participation of Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, Director of CIMT, and Ms. Diana Chalil, Head of the Magister Agribusiness Study Program and Founder of Consortium Studies on Smallholder Palm Oil at Universitas Sumatera Utara, who represented UNINET.
