On 12 October 2022, the Director of the Centre for Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, was invited by the President of the Malaysian National Cooperative Forces (ANGKASA), Datuk Seri Dr. Abdul Fattah to a roundtable discussion with ANGKASA. Both the Director of CIMT and the President of ANGKASA had the opportunity to discuss the possibilities of collaboration and contribution of the cooperative movement in IMT-GT Subregion.

The meeting was the follow-up action of the previous meeting held on 26 August 2022 at the CIMT Office. The meeting agreed to explore collaboration in the 8 areas of IMT-GT cooperation namely agriculture, trade and investment, halal business, transportation, digital transformation, human resource development, and environment.
